Investing Is Not the Same as Strategy
Buying an investment is an action. Having an investment strategy is a process. A strategy connects each investment decision to goals, risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, tax considerations, and a review process.
Goals Come Before Products
The right investment mix depends on what the money is for. Retirement income, emergency reserves, education funding, business reserves, and legacy goals may require different timelines and risk levels.
Protection Still Matters
Investment strategy should not be isolated from protection planning. If income, debt, insurance, or estate instructions are not addressed, the investment plan may have to be disrupted during a personal or family event.
